The Bed Post - Then
We are located on Tower retail park Crayford, Queensway Petts Wood, Elm Parade Sidcup, London Road, Dunton Green, Sevenoaks and Church Street Reigate. The Bed Post opened for business in April 1987 in a modest showroom in Lee Green and has steadily grown, moving from there into showrooms in Sidcup, Eltham and in 1999 we moved into our 10,000 square foot flagship retail park showroom & warehouse in Crayford. In 2007 another showroom was added to the chain in Dunton Green, near Sevenoaks and in 2021 we opened our 5th shop in Reigate Surrey.

With over 30 years history, we have developed rapidly supplying beds, mattresses and bedroom furniture to our customers all over the south east both contract and retail. This growth has been achieved largely by way of personal recommendation from satisfied customers who have spread the word. The reason for that is our emphasis on customer service and care, something for which we were rewarded for by the London borough of Bexley who awarded us the accolade of ‘retailer of the year’ in recognition of just those qualities. To ensure exceptional value for money we are constantly checking our prices against the multiples and internet and as you might expect, we offer a price promise, simply to match any other price quoted on any bed or mattress.
